🚀 Getting Started

New to Acadametia? Follow these steps to get up and running in minutes.

Create Your Account

Visit the registration page and choose your role: Teacher, Student, or Parent. Fill in your name, email, and create a secure password. You'll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account.

Verify Your Email

Check your inbox for a verification email from Acadametia. Click the verification link to confirm your email address. If you don't see it, check your spam folder or request a new verification email.

Complete Your Profile

After logging in for the first time, head to Profile → Edit Profile to add your details: display name, profile picture, bio, and subject areas (for teachers). A complete profile helps others find and connect with you.

Explore Your Dashboard

Your dashboard is the central hub. Here you'll see recent activity, quick stats, notifications, and navigation to all features. Take a moment to explore the sidebar menu and familiarize yourself with the layout.

💡 Tip: You can switch between light and dark themes using the toggle in the top navigation bar. Your preference is saved automatically.

👨‍🏫 For Teachers

Everything you need to create engaging quizzes, manage your classes, and track student performance.

Create a Class

Navigate to Classes → Create Class. Enter a class name, subject, and optional description. You'll receive a unique class code that students can use to join. You can create multiple classes for different subjects or periods.

Create a Quiz

Go to Quizzes → Create Quiz. Choose your class, set a title, and add questions. You can create multiple-choice, true/false, and short-answer questions. Set time limits, due dates, and shuffle options for each quiz.

Invite Students

Share your class code with students, or send email invitations directly from the class page. Students will appear in your class roster once they join. You can also invite students via the invitation system from Classes → Invite.

Schedule & Publish Quizzes

Drafts are saved automatically. When ready, set your quiz to Scheduled with a specific date/time, or make it Live immediately. Students will be notified automatically when a quiz goes live.

View Analytics

After students complete quizzes, visit Analytics to see class averages, individual scores, question-level performance, and trends over time. Use these insights to identify topics that need more attention.

💡 Tip: Use the quiz timer feature to create timed assessments. You can also allow retakes and set the number of allowed attempts per student.

Learn how to join classes, take quizzes, and track your academic progress.

Join a Class

Go to Classes → Join Class and enter the class code provided by your teacher. Once joined, the class will appear in your class list and you'll receive notifications for new quizzes and announcements.

Take a Quiz

When a quiz is live, you'll see it in your dashboard and receive a notification. Click to start, answer each question, and use ← → arrow keys to navigate between questions. Your progress is auto-saved. Click Submit when finished.

View Your Results

After submission, visit Results to see your score, correct/incorrect answers, and teacher feedback. You can review past quiz results to identify areas for improvement.

Track Your Progress

Your dashboard shows a progress overview with scores across all subjects and classes. Visit Progress to see detailed charts of your performance over time, average scores, and completion rates.

💡 Tip: Don't worry if you lose connection during a quiz — your answers are auto-saved. Simply reconnect and continue where you left off.

👨‍👩‍👧 For Parents

Stay connected with your child's education. View reports, track progress, and communicate with teachers.

Create a Parent Account

Register as a Parent role. You'll need to link your account to your child's account to view their academic data.

Link Your Child

Navigate to My Children → Link Child. Enter your child's email or username to send a linking request. Once your child accepts, you'll be able to view their classes, quiz results, and progress reports.

View Reports

Visit Reports to see your child's performance across all subjects. Reports include quiz scores, averages, trends, and teacher feedback. You can filter by class, date range, or subject.

Message Teachers

Use the messaging feature to communicate directly with your child's teachers. Ask questions about assignments, share concerns, or schedule parent-teacher discussions — all within the platform.

💡 Tip: Enable email notifications in your settings to receive alerts when your child completes a quiz or when teachers post announcements.

Answers to the most common questions about Acadametia.

Acadametia offers a free tier for all users with essential features. Teachers can create up to 3 classes and 10 quizzes on the free plan. Upgrade to Pro for unlimited classes, advanced analytics, and priority support.

Yes! Acadametia is fully responsive and works great on smartphones, tablets, and desktops. Access it from any modern web browser — no app download required.

Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page and enter your registered email. You'll receive a password reset link that expires after 1 hour. Follow the link to create a new password.

Retake availability depends on the teacher's quiz settings. If the teacher allows retakes, you'll see a "Retake" button on the quiz results page. Some quizzes may have a limited number of attempts.

Each correct answer is worth equal points. Your score is the percentage of correct answers out of the total questions. For timed quizzes, there is no time penalty — scores are based solely on accuracy.

Absolutely. We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data transmission, CSRF protection, XSS sanitization, and secure password hashing. Your data is never shared with third parties.

Yes! Teachers can export class results as CSV files from the Analytics page. Students can also view and screenshot their individual results. We're working on PDF export functionality for a future update.
